ELECTION 2020 VOTER PERCEPTIONS

Engagious, in partnership with Sago and Syracuse University’s Institute for Democracy, Journalism and Citizenship, is excited to be conducting monthly online focus groups with key segments of the voting age population throughout the 2024 election cycle.  Our focus group respondents belong to demographic groups that will likely play an outsized role in determining the outcome of the election.  We are interviewing a different category of voters each month.  NBC News is reporting on our project.

As background, in the 21 months leading up to the 2020 election, Engagious conducted monthly focus groups with Obama (’12)-Trump (’16) voters as part of the Swing Voter Project.  We held these sessions in person during the first 13 months of that iteration of the project; once the pandemic started, we shifted to online focus groups. After the 2020 election, Engagious pivoted to conducting monthly online focus groups with Trump (’16)-Biden (’20) voters in key swing states in partnership with Sago.
